Is March over? Yikes!

Maci is 2 months old now!! I really can't believe that it's been two months since I had her. She is so much fun! She LOVES to talk -- she's even cooing at me right now! It's too cute. She's gotten pretty chubby, she weighs 12 lbs 8 oz. (90th percentile).

I'm so proud of Reilyn. She's been taking swimming lessons for a while now, but has been too scared to swim on her own-- but she finally did it!!  She swam about 30 feet and back on her own! It was such a proud mom moment for me. I was in the pool area and was cheering and clapping for her. I wish I had a picture, but the YMCA does not allow pictures to be taken there. Since then she has been begging us to take her to open swim, so she can practice with us. So James took her and Kedric today, while I walked to the track with Maci. On the track, you can see different parts of the YMCA, and so I could watch them swimming while I was walking. It's so fun to see James play with the kids and the way they get so excited around him. They had so much fun.

We put up a fence in our back yard-- FINALLY! When we moved in there was a huge sloped edge filled with rocks and other junk and it was a huge waste of space. Last year, James put in a retaining wall, and this year we got the fence up! It looks like a whole different back yard and we have a lot more space. Now we just get to wait for the grass to grow. Again. :)

For family night this week, we colored eggs. This is a tradition I love to do with the kids. I love to find different ways of decorating them, and get really into it. We used food coloring this year, and it worked awesome! Kedric wanted to help me get the colors ready, and while I put the vinegar in, he said he wanted to try that kind of water (the vinegar). I let him stick his finger in the spoon of vinegar and he did NOT like it! (See the picture of him making a face.) Of course Kedric colored all of his eggs blue. I think he did that last year too. :)

I was released from my calling a couple weeks ago. It will be sad to not see the Primary kids every Sunday, but I'm sure I'll be asked to help sub in classes. I loved working in the Primary. It was a lot of fun, the kids are awesome, and you never get bored! It is kinda a relief for me to be released though. I don't think I would be able to take all my kids to all my meetings every week! :)

Here's a few more pictures I took recently...

Reilyn "fixed" my mom's hair

One night when I went to check on Kedric, I couldn't find him. This is what I found... can you see him?  (yes, he does still have his Christmas pillowcase on, don't worry, I've washed it-- He just loves it so much!)
